About Jeff
As one of the Western Wisconsin areas’ most experienced Realtor's,
Hoel has more than 30 years of experience in real estate and all
facets of business operations, finance, general management, Broker
management, sales and marketing. Hoel is currently Real Estate Broker licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Hoel lectures regularly on business management changes, theories and his diverse experience background and is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Univ. of Wisconsin - Stout campus in the areas of Real Estate and Marketing.
Recently Hoel was awarded the National Association of REALTORS®’ (NAR’s) Green Designation, the only green real estate professional designation recognized by NAR. He achieved this prestigious designation after completing course work designed specifically for REALTORS®. The courses were created in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of industry experts from across the country; ensuring designees gain comprehensive knowledge of green homes and buildings and issues of sustainability in relation to real estate.
More specifically, Designee's was trained in understanding what makes a property green, helping clients evaluate the cost/benefits of green building features and practices, distinguishing between industry rating and classification systems, listing and marketing green homes and buildings, discussing the financial grants and incentives available to homeowners, and helping consumers see a property’s green potential.
Hoel began his real estate career with his own commercial build and development company and that eventually led to Edina Realty in Eagan, MN, some time in the Phoenix, AZ and Rochester, MN markets, to Wisconsin in 2001 and Edina Realty. The "Big Guy" is still active in all markets, but now resides and offices in the Menomonie, Wisconsin area.
